Moment recognised at the 2026 Onboard Hospitality Awards for reimagining onboard connectivity with Flymingo Mini

From 14 to 16 April 2026, Aircraft Interiors Expo 2026 took place in Hamburg, one of the aviation industry’s major events, bringing together the world’s leading aviation players. Each year, the event highlights the latest innovations in IFEC, in-flight connectivity and overall passenger experience. 

For Moment, the 2026 edition marked a significant new phase of growth, highlighted by the launch of its new Wi-Fi portal, designed to help operators regain control over onboard connectivity services and maximize their value, as well as the announcement of a new partnership with Garuda Indonesia. Combined with several other highlights revealed during the show, these milestones confirmed Moment’s position as one of the most innovative players in inflight connectivity, digital cabin services, and next-generation IFEC solutions.

Onboard Hospitality Award 2026

In addition to these announcements, Moment was recognised at the Onboard Hospitality Awards 2026 with a “Highly Commended” distinction in the Best Onboard Connectivity category for its Flymingo Mini project.

While Qatar Airways won the category thanks to its Starlink-equipped fleet, illustrating progress in ultra-high-speed connectivity, Flymingo Mini highlights a complementary vision led by Moment: improving how connectivity is distributed and experienced onboard through a lighter, modular, connetivity-ready and cost-effective solution.

Currently under development as an R&D project, Flymingo Mini introduces a new  approach to in-flight entertainment and connectivity. Thanks to its ultra-compact design and direct power supply to each seat, the solution integrates more easily and meets airlines’ operational needs more effectively.

PAX Awards 2026

This momentum is also reflected among Moment’s partner airlines. Azal (Azerbaijan Airlines) was recognised at the PAX Awards 2026, winning the Best IFE & Connectivity award for the Central Asia region.

Since 2020, the airline relies on Moment’s Flymingo Box. Deployed across its Airbus A319 and Airbus A320 fleet, the solution strengthen Azal in-flight entertainment and passenger services. This recognition confirms the growing importance of IFE, connectivity and customer experience in passenger satisfaction and airline differentiation.

In summary, the 2026 edition of Aircraft Interiors Expo confirms Moment’s growth in the connectivity and in-flight digital services market, through technological innovation, new partnerships and industry recognition.
