Air Corsica has taken another step in improving its customer services with the introduction of Flymingo Box, Moment’s W-IFE solution dedicated to in-flight entertainment. This new onboard experience will be available on 11 aircraft: 6 A320 NEO & CEO and 5 ATR72-600.
Paris, October 2023 – Moment, French leader in digital entertainment solutions and passenger services for the travel industry, has been selected by Air Corsica to install its In-Flight Entertainment system, the Flymingo Box, aboard the airline’s fleet. Passengers will benefit from this new customer service by the end of 2023.
Air Corsica, the leading air carrier on the island of beauty, was created in 1989 by the Assembly of Corsica. This ambition is reinforced by the enrichment of the company’s customer services through the partnership with Moment and the deployment of its innovative wireless onboard solution. Designed as a compact, battery-operated server, the Flymingo box has the capacity to provide a video stream to 100 passengers simultaneously. The modular white-label solution stands out from the competition and allows airlines to customize their digital in-flight service by adding or removing modules, such as entertainment, in-flight magazine, e-commerce, satisfaction surveys etc.
Air Corsica has chosen to offer a rich entertainment platform with a large catalog of selected content (movies, press, podcasts, games, etc.). To further enhance the experience, Moment has partnered with Allindi, a Corsican VOD platform, to offer a 100% Corsican movie catalog. Passengers will also have access to a moving map, in-flight magazine and a satisfaction survey.
